Advanced/AP* Biology
Our Biology series provides teachers with supplemental materials that integrate content review, formative assessment, and standardized test preparation. The Applied Practice in Science series are designed to fit seamlessly into normal daily lesson plans, providing test preparation over material specific to a teaching unit.
Each Biology workbook includes:
- 100 multiple choice questions covering five subtopics - 20 questions per subtopic
- 5 free-response questions replicating the types of questions found on the AP* Biology exam
- Questions that deal with the AP*-recommended labs (incorporated into MC and FR sections)

While not all of our Biology topics are covered in detail on the AP Biology exam each May, each resource guide is designed to cover a specific unit typically taught in an AP Biology course. By integrating the applied practice offered in these resource guides throughout the year while teaching these units in biology, teachers can prepare students for the difficulty level, format and style of questions they will find on the AP Biology exam in May. Routine practice with Applied Practice materials will help them feel confident and comfortable with the advanced placement standardized test format.
