Applied Practice workbooks are an invaluable teaching tool as you work to prepare your students for the Virginia Standards of Learning Assessments. As your students read the literary works covered in your curriculum, they will have the opportunity to practice and to develop those skills assessed on the SOL exams. Applied Practice booklets do not purport to duplicate the Standards of Learning Assessments exactly. However, questions are modeled on those typically encountered on the tests, and the English standards of learning are addressed in each booklet. Students using these materials will become familiar and comfortable with the format, question types, and terminology of the Standards of Learning Assessments. All questions are correlated with the English Standards of Learning, and the standard(s) addressed by each question is identified in the answer key. Our workbooks are available for purchase for a teacher's individual classroom use as hard-copy, spiral-bound resource guides. Our material may be purchased in digital form on CD-ROM in bundles of 3+ titles across formats, providing unlimited reproduction rights by all teachers and students on the purchasing campus.
