A companion to our Pre-AP/AP* English workbook, the new U.S. History American Speeches guide provides 90 multiple-choice and 9 free-response questions over the same speeches found in our ELA American Speeches Selections workbook.  These questions replicate the kinds of questions found on the AP* U.S History exam and cover content related to the speeches and their historical contexts.

Team-teaching has long been recognized as an effective method of presenting material to students. Here at Applied Practice, our goal is to team up with you and your colleagues to provide resources that enhances your lessons and and gives you rich formative assessment testing tools. That's why in the fall of 2008, we introduced resource guides in two entirely new subject areas: Science and Social Studies. We understand that whether or not you formally team teach with your counterparts in the English, science, or history departments, all teachers do work as a team to help their students learn.
